Christmas was very different this year for our little family. We stayed in Cincinnati and missed our Dallas trip and Oklahoma City trip...or, we missed our FAMILIES! However, my parents did come up on the 23rd and stayed for five nights. They came to our church Christmas play, helped the boys look for Santa on our front porch on Christmas Eve, Mimi cooked some awesome food, and Grande had "fun" putting together toddler toys once again Christmas morning with Chris. :)
It was so awesome to see Christmas come to life for Hunter. EVERYTHING excited him. Jesus Birthday. Mary and "Jo-fef" in the "barn." Lights. Cookies. Decorations. Mimi's Stockings. Kaki's stocking stuffers. Hunter asking Santa for a "big polar bear for me and a little polar bear for baby (Charlie that is)." Rudolph. Singing Christmas music in the car. Amy Grant music. Grandmama's breakfast casserole. Mimi and Grande coming to Cincinnati!
