Visiting the Carolinas...or FAMILY!
We drove to North Carolina and visited Phil and Stephanie and let the cousins play together. It is always great to let the boys play and enjoy each other. Hunter and Charlie loved playing in Philip and Parker's Mickey Mouse bounce house in their backyard. Bath time, sleepover, all of it...cherished times for the kids!
Then we went to Charleston, South Carolina to visit Boone and Avri. The beach and weather was a little cooler than we would prefer but that's what we get for going in April! Boone and Avri live in the coolest location nearby restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. Hunter and Charlie, of course, loved the beach even if they were in sweatshirts! My boys were smitten with Avri and we got to go to the park, visit Boone at work, and "play" in their "underconstruction" house. They were remodelling the kitchen and living room, so paint buckets to sit on and nails were plenty of entertainment for a 3 year old and 1 year old.
