Today was the first big snow of the year. All day large white snowflakes fell. Chris and Hunter went sledding in our front yard. Hunter had a blast, but I think Drake had the most fun! He kept running in front of the sled and in circles around Hunter playing in the snow.
Charlie's little personality is starting to show more and more. I don't necessarily think he is going to be quiet like I thought...he sure loves to coo and gargle. He is a big smiler. He definitely has already started responding to Hunter looking in his direction and even smiling at him. Charlie REALLY likes Chris staring at him with such intent. Maybe it is his beard that is so intriguing, maybe it is his voice?
Charlie likes to snuggle and be held. He really is a sweet, sweet baby. Staring at my Christmas tree and holding him has been my delight at the end of the day.
My parents and youngest brother, Sam, came to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of sitting around the den, playing with Hunter, rocking Charlie and eating. We went to the Children's Museum downtown apparently on the busiest day of the year, the day after Thanksgiving. It was fun to watch Hunter play with Chris and Sam and see Charlie asleep on Grande.
Charlie is growing fast! He gave me an all gum smile this morning. Talk about melting my heart. Chris is on his Internal Medicine rotation right now, so he has been able to come home earlier! It is so nice having him home to play with the boys!
Chris and I met in Spanish class at OU...as Chris says, "she had to have me." We have been married 6 years in July! We are blessed with two sweet boys, Hunter & Charlie.
