Boone and Avri's Wedding

My younger brother, Boone, got married May 30 in Wimberly, Texas. The wedding was at a chapel on this beautiful ranch...Avri & Boone were glowing. It was a wonderful weekend. Hunter wore a tux and was the star in the bridesmaids dressing room...besides the Bride, of course! :)

Cousins ready for bedtime...so were their parents!

Memorial Day

We went to Lake Eufaula with the family. Chris' grandparents, parents, brother and sisters were there.

To the lake...I don't always sit in the back with my child. :) Ha.

Hunter's first time on the lake!

He was excited!

The jacket was a little big...

Surgery

Hunter had a little cyst above his right eyebrow that was removed. Surgery at 6 1/2 months?! I didn't know how he would handle it...I quickly learned Hunter having surgery was WAY more difficult on Mom...I thought they were going to have to put me under...

Mimi & Hunter pre-op! My mom gave Hunter a surgeon's glove to chew on before the surgery...I was pacing. :)

Just after surgery. He was NOT happy about all the poking and prodding.

Daddy holding Hunter just after the surgery.

Grandpa Jim came to visit.

Surgery was very successful and his eye looked great! I was very impressed with how great the scar looked. He bruised only a little for a few days after surgery!
It is interesting being a parent because there are 2 things that I have "known" my entire life but somehow the realization becomes more and more apparent:
1. How much my parent's love me.
2. How much God really does care about the DETAILS of my life...like a parent does.

Mother's Day

We went to Red Rock and enjoyed the lake!

At Baba (great grandmother's house) with Chris' Aunt Katie and cousins Emily & Caroline.

Hunter showing off his moves in the ridiculously large bouncy that takes up our entire living room thanks to Grande and Mimi.

I love this Bean Bag!

Grammy took some great pictures of Hunter's first tooth coming in...

Easter Pictures

He looks so natural in the corn field. :)

Easter

Hunter is about 51/2 months old. I bought Hunter a white and blue outfit that Chris claimed was a "dress." He thought it was WAY too girlie, SO, I returned it and bought another pretty outfit with trucks on it. ...Chris didn't argue. :)

We went to see Hunter's other GREAT Granparents-Baba & Bruce.

Hunter was very tired after our Good Friday day's events. He was pretty dramatic-I think he gets that from his dad. Ha.:)
